Aerial View of the Aust Drive-In Theater, 1964

This aerial survey completed in 1964 shows the features of the Aust Drive-in. At the center, the arcs that are visible are the rows of car parking facing the screen, with the screen at the lower center. The building seen amidst the car rows is the projection booth. Along the right side of the theater compound are the concession stand, bathrooms, and a possible maintenance shed. The ticket booth is located just off Spier Falls Rd. entrance, with Spier Falls Rd. running parallel to the bottom of the image. The road that is diagonal in the lower right corner is Route 9, or the Saratoga-Glens Falls Rd., which starts at exit 17N of the Northway and goes into South Glens Falls.
