Glen Drive-in Snack Bar, 2021

When John Gardner built the drive-in in 1958, he designed the snack bar in a way that stands out from other concession structures. What makes it unique is the two-story layout with nearly floor to ceiling glass panel in the first-floor sales area and the unusually large windows of the second-floor projection room. In particular, the projection booth windows allowed for greater visibility of what was happening both on the screen, as well as in the parking/viewing area. Any issues would then be noticed and addressed more promptly.
