How long were workers stuck at home during the Blizzard of 1888? How often did families hear from their soldiers overseas during World War II? And what was it like when news broke that the United States landed on the moon in 1969? Each story invites the participants back in time to experience how families may have discussed these historic events and the ways that these events shaped day-to-day life.
