The Chapman Museum Research Archive houses manuscripts, other archival materials and over 10,000 photographs that document the history of the Glens Falls/Queensbury region.
Researchers can access 6000 items, including 3,000 Stoddard photos, in an online searchable image database.
The archive is open for walk-in researchers on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons from 1 to 3 pm or by appointment.
The museum will perform research on request; this must be made in writing or by completion of a Research Request. An initial assessment is free. Additional research may be arranged, but a $25/hour fee, paid in advance, is required.
